about

This song was originally released in 2002 on our Slumber Party Massacre EP. This slightly altered version was included on our 2003 compilation album Slumber Party Massacre II.

This song is one of two EverDead songs that was actually written by our proto-EverDead band called Descension (the other being "Cut You Up").

Since it was one of the first songs I ever wrote, and I was a dumbass teenager, I totally ripped off the opening lyrics to an old Green Day song called "Don't Leave Me." I think my original idea might have been to make it a parody of that song, but that didn't end up happening. Instead, we ended up with a song that we really liked, except the opening lines were stolen. That always bothered me, so I eventually re-wrote the opening lines for the re-recorded version of the song that appears on our Zombies, Werewolves, & Demons album.
