This is another one of The EverDead's oldest songs, written back in the spring of 2000. Originally titled "Mr. Skull," it had always been a part of our live set, but the song never got a proper studio version until now.

The lyrics pay homage to classic slasher movies. Eventually, I was inspired to take the homage a step further by turning the song's concept into a full-length slasher movie script called Samhain Eve. The lyrics of the song were then re-written a bit to conform to the plot of the movie. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to secure funding, so the movie was never made. But elements of the script, including the skull-masked killer, Mr. Skull, have found their way into my '80s-themed comic book, Satan Ninja 198X (which can be read at SatanNinja.com).
